Welcome to New Paridhan (hereafter referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By using our website or placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1️⃣ Eligibility to Use This Website

To shop or place orders:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age or using the website under the supervision of a guardian.

  • You agree to provide accurate and truthful information while placing an order or registering for services.

  • Commercial use of the website without our permission is strictly prohibited.

2️⃣ Handcrafted Product Disclaimer

  • All our Mekhela Chadors and traditional wear are handwoven and often custom-made, involving Sualkuchi-based artisans and local tailoring.

  • Slight variations in weave, color, texture, or pattern are natural and considered part of the product’s authenticity. These will not be treated as defects.

  • Please read product descriptions carefully, including fabric type, weave style, and wash care instructions before placing an order.

3️⃣ Measurements & Tailoring Accuracy

  • For custom tailoring, measurements must be submitted accurately by the customer.

  • We do not take responsibility for ill-fitting garments due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

  • Once measurements are provided and work begins, no changes can be made.

4️⃣ Order Confirmation & Processing

  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment (except for COD, if applicable).

  • For customized products (woven or tailored), production may take additional time beyond regular delivery timelines.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of limited stock, incorrect pricing, or unforeseen technical issues. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

5️⃣ Pricing & Payment

  • All prices listed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes, unless mentioned otherwise.

  • Prices may be updated without prior notice based on fabric cost, labor, or seasonal demand.

  • We accept online payments through secure gateways. We do not store any card or payment details on our server.

6️⃣ Shipping & Delivery

  • We partner with trusted logistics providers to deliver across India.

  • Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary based on location, product type, or natural/unforeseen delays.

  • Customers will receive tracking information once the order is dispatched.

  • In case of remote or non-serviceable areas, delivery may not be possible, and the order may be canceled with a refund.

7️⃣ Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Please refer to our separate Return, Refund & Exchange Policy. Key points include:

  • We accept returns only for damaged or incorrect items with valid unboxing video proof within 7 days period.

  • Custom orders (made-to-measure or personalized) are non-returnable.

  • Refunds are processed (Credited) after internal verification and are subject to timeline (7 days) and condition checks.

8️⃣ Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of placing them, only if the product has not been sent for weaving or tailoring.

  • After this window, cancellation is not permitted for personalized products.

  • If we cancel your order from our end due to unavailability or technical issues, you will receive a full refund.

9️⃣ Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content on our website, including images, product photos, designs, branding, logos, and written text, is owned by New Paridhan and is protected by copyright laws.

  • No part of the website may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

By using our services, you agree NOT to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Misuse or disrupt the functionality of the website

  • Send fraudulent, harmful, or false information

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Our total liability, in any case, shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific order.

  • We shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profit, goodwill, or data.

  • We do our best to ensure our website is always accessible. However, we are not responsible for downtime due to maintenance, hosting issues, or cyber threats.

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website without notice.

We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. All updates will be posted on this page with a “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes implies your acceptance of those terms.
